This workshop helps you build your foundation in grammar, focusing on key areas where many business writers tend to make mistakes in basic English Grammar. Through discussions, and many exercises, you will learn how to write more accurately, and edit your writing before sending them.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN IN “GRAMMAR IN BUSINESS”:

  • The Infinitive.
  • Tenses
    – tenses commonly used in business writing.
  • Active Voice vs Passive Voice.
    – the right tone to use for different situations.
  • Singular, plural.
  • Capital letters, small letters.
  • Prepositions, conjunctions.
  • Punctuation marks.
  • Pronouns
    – when to use ‘me, I or myself’.
  • Business vocabulary.
  • Converting Singlish to English in writing.

Instructor will review your writing exercises during workshop and give you feedback to improve.
